2013 HR Derby

AZSSL Inaugural HR Derby

While the homerun derby got off to a slow start due to the high winds blowing out toward left field, Matt P picked up the pace to hit 4 HR's. Joe B advanced by crushing 6 HR's. Finally, Steve L hit some towering HR's that Charles D measured at a distance of 486 feet (compliments of Charles D's bat)! The derby came down to Joe B and Steve L in an exciting finish with Joe "Bambino" taking the derby by 1 HR.

Thanks to all the participants and those who helped make this a fun event. Until next season...
